Superstrong takes two

The steady growth of Belfast-based MD Golf looks set to continue in 2012, thanks in part to the launch of the latest generation of its core Superstrong product, ST2 Featuring a new driver, fairway woods, hybrids and irons, MD Golf’s new Superstrong ST2 range - which starts arriving at UK retail in mid-September - is a sure sign of continued progress for the leading mid-market brand.

The figurehead for the range is the Superstrong ST2 Ti 460 driver. Made with a classic head shape and featuring a low centre of gravity to promote a high ball flight, the titanium driver comes with a PVD finish and features a Proforce 65 shaft and UST multi-compound grip. All for an RRP of £109.99.

Reinforcing MD Golf’s philosophy of manufacturing equipment to high specifications yet without high retail prices are the ST2 Hybrids. Retailing at £79.99, the clubs are made with the more forgiving clubhead shape of fairway woods, which allows for the weight to be positioned sufficiently deep to promote that all-important high ball flight. Despite the retail price, the ST2 Hybrids are fitted with Proforce shafts and UST grips.
