CK extends Asian reach
Premium Golf Brands, the exclusive licensing partner for Calvin Klein Golf, has entered into a sub-license agreement with Tokyo-based Descente Ltd, to take Calvin Klein Golf into Japan, China and Hong Kong this year, with further Asian territories to follow from 2012.
SMS buy-out
The sports equipment, participation and sports facility business of IFM Sports Marketing Surveys has been purchased by John Bushell, a director of IFM Sports Marketing Surveys, and Stephen Proctor, former owner of Sports Marketing Surveys. The buy-out vehicle will trade as Sports Marketing Surveys Inc with Bushell as managing director and Proctor as chairman.

Champ Spikes has announced the appointment of Paul Steels as independent sales representative for the European and international markets, with immediate effect.
Promotions at Golf Show Group
Damian Benstead has been promoted to become managing director of the Golf Show Group, with Dean Vickerman stepping into the role of sales director. The company is running the new National Golf Show at the NEC this year, from April 15-17, after its London Golf Show failed to flourish.

Nikon has launched a 30-day ‘Risk free trial’ to consumers with its 350G laser rangefinder. The RRP for the 350G is £249.99 (an incorrect price was published in the November/December issue of SGB Golf).
