The polyurethane (PU), seamless grips are made from a three-layer structure, incorporating what the brand is calling ‘Seamless Optimised Technology’. The grips are made with an ‘environmentally-friendly’ under-listing, which is covered by a firmer index layer, before the seamless PU wrap finishes the production.
Feeltec promises golfers that its new grips provide superior feel, high traction and low torque, and that the grips will perform in all weathers, and that they are sweat absorbent.
“Every missed putt is as bad as a topped 7-iron that runs through the green,” Paul Steels, Feeltec UK distributor, tells SGB Golf. “Somehow we forgive a missed three-footer with alarming acceptance. That’s that why I have a range of putter grips and three different sizes, to tempt the golfer to look at this area of his game.”
The EX Series comprises three sizes and six colours; the Marble Series, which is designed to be particularly smooth yet tacky, comes in three sizes and four colours, while the Hawaiian Series, featuring a laser-engraved flower design, is available in three sizes and three colour options.
“With the colours, designs and sizes on offer, this is a good chance for pros to make push for putter re-grips,” adds Steels. “Everybody enjoys changing fashions, have their favourite colours and it gives golfers a chance to use something that’s a little different on the golf course.”
