Due for October retail delivery in men’s and women’s models, the full-grain leather FJ Boot features a Proofguard membrane, which combines with a bellow’s tongue construction to provide the best waterproof protection FootJoy could muster. A lightweight EVA midsole is designed to offer great cushioning, and FootJoy promises the DuraMax rubber outsole will provide both traction and stability.
“Golfers want to be able to play golf in any weather and the FJ Boot enables them to take to the course no matter what the elements throw at them,” says Richard Fryer, FootJoy’s European marketing manager. “There is a strong demand for golf-specific footwear to combat the most severe weather conditions.”
The FJ Boot will be available in men’s sizes 7-11 and women’s 4-8, including half sizes.
