Phil Mickelson has voiced his support for the National Golf Club Challenge in the UK, which could become the largest charity golf event ever to take place in the UK, in support of Help for Heroes. The event takes place on July 24-25.

Motocaddy rolls out
Motocaddy has added 6,000 square feet of warehouse space to its Hertfordshire HQ “to cope with the continued demand” for its range of powered trolleys. The company reports that sales have increased by an average of 28% over the past three years.
Record books at PGB
Premium Golf Brands has announced it has taken record pre-book sales for 2010. PGB owns the Green Lamb and Dwyers & Co brands, it is global licensee for Calvin Klein Golf and distributor for Fairway & Greene, Cutter & Buck, Zero Restriction and Pukka.
Abacus signs Johnson
Swedish tour golfer Richard S. Johnson has signed a two-year agreement to wear Abacus golf apparel. Johnson has been a member of the US PGA Tour since 2003, and he won the 2008 US Bank Championship in Milwaukee.
Changing places at Golf Pride
Grips specialist Golf Pride has appointed Dan Koehler as director of global sales and marketing, while Conor Dillon has been promoted to the role of regional manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
John Letters returns
UK Golf Distribution has secured the rights to distribute John Letters of Scotland, which has been a Direct Golf house brand since 2005. UK Golf also sells Adams, Hotblade, Jaxx Junior and Golf Locker accessories.
