Retailers who pre-book 36 pairs of Dwyers trousers for Spring Summer 2010 will receive 12 free belts; or for 48 pairs of trousers they will receive 24 free belts. Dwyers gives the belts an RRP of £25 each. The offer closes at the end of September.

Zero Restriction upon Thomas
American outerware brand Zero Restriction is preparing to launch its Spring Summer 2010 range, which has been overseen by Isle of Wight-based designer Piers Thomas. Zero Restriction's new Design Director has previously worked with high-performance brands Patagonia, Helly Hansen and Musto.
Glenbrae runs into left field
In conjunction with Surrey-based PGA pro Terry Sims, Glenbrae has launched what is believed to be the world's first polo shirt designed specifically for left-handed golfers. The main difference from a standard golf shirt is a stretch panel on and over the right shoulder of the shirt, which is designed for better freedom of movement during the left-handed backswing. Retailing at £39.95, left-handed golfer Barack Obama has been sent a sample.
Hill Billy looking up
Sales of Hill Billy's core product, the Terrain, have risen 40% year on year, up to July 31. The Terrain has been fitted with a lighter battery and fresh cosmetics for 2009.
FootJoy correction
In the August issue of SGB Golf it was reported that in 2004, Padraig Harrington added 17.5 yards to his tee shots due to his golf shoes, and this statistic was mistakenly attributed to FootJoy. This was not a FootJoy statistic.
