The brochure embellishes a Working Together programme that already comprises a monthly e-newsletter, publication of a traditional Annual Review in print and the 18th birthday ‘Coming of Age' publication. A link to the Partners Brochure can be accessed via www.pgae.com and it will be circulated to up to 20,000 recipients, including the 36 member PGAs and their 15,000 PGA professionals, and extensive trade and media contacts across the continent and beyond.
In his introduction to the Partners Brochure, Ian Randell, The PGAs of Europe chief executive (pictured), writes: "While, in what has become an increasingly successful monthly newsletter, we have been able to publicise some of the activities of our Partners and business associates, this is the first time we've been able to offer a profile of each of them in one allied publication ... while also taking the opportunity to recall some of the milestone articles that have appeared in the first 32 issues of Working Together.
"Working Together has become much more than a mere strap-line for the newsletter, but the very ethos within which we operate the association.
"This principle of working together applies throughout our membership of 36 PGAs who each assist and learn from each other. It is extended through our various partnerships within the golf industry, including not least The R&A and The European Tour, but also the Federations (EGA), Golf Course Owners (EGCOA), Managers (CMAE), Greenkeepers (FEGGA), Architects (EIGCA), Golf Industry (EGIA), Golf Tourism (IAGTO) and work to protect the Environment (GEO).
"It can also be seen with the Media, including the relationship with the European Golf and Travel Media Association (EGTMA), and importantly with our family of Corporate Partners, whose support enables us to develop our organisation and provide assistance to our member PGAs."
