Profit from putting
Neil Cooke, technical director at Golfsmith Europe, writes that the club that gets most overlooked for custom fitting is the one players use the most – their putter
Golfers often buy a putter after just a few strokes on an artificial green, which bears very little resemblance to the putting conditions the customer normally plays on. While the choice of putter grip and putter head has a lot to do with personal preference and feel, the length and weight of a putter should be carefully customised.
