Glenmuir has updated its Men's 1891 Collection with some new designs and a fresh colour palette. ‘Tralee' (pictured) is one of four new double-mercerised polo shirts, which Glenmuir says is both lustrous and hardwearing. The striped Tralee comes in Black/Light Grey/Winter White; Ink/Ice/White and Fire/Tan/White. Like Tralee, the entire 1891 range is available in three colour palettes: Blue Tones, Black Jack and Autumn Fire.

Spring 2010
Among the technological advances adopted by GNC for 2010 is ION 75, which involves liquid titanium magnetic crystals being embedded in a superior microfibre yarn. The result is that a healthy and natural flow of negative ions is supposed to be promoted. Among the new colour palettes for 2010 is Caribbean Sands (pictured), which blends Vivid Firefly with Cool Frost and white.

Irish trouser specialist Dwyers is gearing up for its first full season in the golf market with an expanded range in terms of styles and colour options. The Black Label classic line consists of straight-legged trousers with a single pleat, while the more contemporary Red Label cut comes with a flat front, boot cut tailoring and jeans-style pockets. Some of the trousers are made from lightweight Kinsale wool, while others use a new Micro-tech performance fabric.

Golf Spring Summer 2010 Collection
Tommy Hilfiger says its latest Golf Collection is inspired by America in the 1960s: "a decade that introduced a new age of American life that saw social change merge with creative renaissance and the progressive views of a new generation". The range features polo shirts, Argyle sweaters, chinos, windbreakers and knitwear with a performance twist, for wear on and off the course. Red, White and Blue are prominent.

Young Swedish brand Abacus has established itself and a prominent golf and lifestyle label, particularly in Sweden, Denmark, Holland, Germany and Canada, and it continues to grow. New from Daily Sports for 2010 is that almost all of their golf shirts have been accredited as sun protective garments, with protection of UPF 40+. The sweater (pictured) comes with or without the print design on the front, and it is available in a broad range of six colour options. The adjustable visor also comes in six colours (£10), the Capri trousers are available in sizes 4-22 (£52) and the cabretta leather glove has an RRP of £16.
