"The successful bid to host the Ryder Cup in Wales was a catalyst in the creation of Asbri Golf," says Eryl Williams, managing director of the Pontypridd-based company. "And now to be an official licensee for one of the top global sporting events is a fantastic achievement for us."
Asbri Golf was formed in 2003 with the initial intention of supplying the Welsh golf market, but now the company does business with over 350 retailers in the UK and to outlets in 20 countries worldwide.
The new Ryder Cup accessories range is scheduled to be launched in May 2009.
