As the ‘Official Video Coaching Partner of the PGAs of Europe', this online facility, with flexible deployment options, will be instrumental in developing and extending the use of multi-media devices such as PCs, mobile phones and MP4 players in golf coaching.
The Swing Zone's functionality will enable golf professionals to deliver a completely personalised lesson to local or remote golf pupils. Lessons are supported by hints and tips from either the pro's own stock of teaching videos or from the Swing Zone library of video content, and drills which will be available in several languages.
Tony Bennett, the PGAs of Europe's Director of Education, confirmed the all-round excellence of the system for on-line coaching: "We have fully endorsed the Swing Zone as a consumer service that reflects the video coaching standards that are rigorously incorporated in PGA coaching curricula."
When Swing Zone was launched on August 4 it joined Approved Putting Partner Break 30 in the association's new category of Education Partners, which recognises advances made in teaching and coaching aids.
