Golf Pride, the official grip of the PGAs of Europe, is continuing to set the pace for sales on the European markets with its mixture of high technology and ground-breaking products presented in a vibrant range of colours.
Conor Dillon, the new Golf Pride Europe Managing Director, has delivered a glowing progress report on the world's No.1 golf grip brand.
"Sales have been excellent across the board but we have been particularly pleased by our fantastic growth in Europe," he said. "For 2008, we expanded the variety of options on our most popular and high-tech grip lines to offer more colours and sizes than ever before, and this has proved to be an overwhelming success. The combination of the latest technology and large variety of colour options that Golf Pride offers, gives golfers a greater opportunity to personalise their style on the course, without compromising the performance and feel of their grip."
Already this year Golf Pride has enjoyed a dramatic growth in its aftermarket business. Key markets showing excellent signs of growth are Sweden and Germany.
Overall the company has witnessed a 35% increase in Europe partly due to consumers becoming more aware of the advantages of re-gripping their clubs regularly.
