As in the previous two years, there will be three successful applicants in the ‘Full Members' category and one in the ‘International' category, all four to be selected by a judging panel who will sift through the entries about those deserving individuals whose efforts go beyond the call of duty.
Recommendations are not limited to PGA officials from the 37 member countries. Anyone wishing to nominate a PGA professional whom they feel deserves the accolade, is invited to contact their PGA in order to complete a form and to submit it either by e-mail or by fax.
The 2007 winners were Jim Farmer (Hon Professional, Royal & Ancient GC of St Andrews); Paul Dellanzo (Vice-President European Operations, Troon Golf); Mike O'Brien (Head of Education, PGA of Poland) and Dale Hayes (‘The Peter Alliss of South Africa').
